ACTIVITIES
You'll find the program inventive, creative, active, inclusive and varied. Operating on the principle of "free play", children choose whether they participate in structured activities or in supervised play. Choices include:
sports (eg handball, soccer, cricket) games (eg board games, puzzles etc) arts, crafts and pottery cooking and music mask making and print making dance, film, video and lots more
The community centre has a fabulous playground with challenging equipment and what is perhaps the largest sandpit in the Southern Hemisphere!
There is also a quiet area set aside for children to do their homework with 2 computers available for supervised internet research mathletics etc.
Year 6 children have their 'own' space.
