German for Beginners
Course Overview
This course is designed for students without prior knowledge of German or very little knowledge of German.
At this early stage of the learning process, the correct pronunciation of German words is a strong focus of the teaching in addition to some basic grammar. At the conclusion of the term, students should be confident of introducing themselves in German, ordering a meal, buying a public transport ticket and talking to a doctor. Students will also be asked to read and understand simple poems and recite them in class. All the above will happen in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
