Take Your Spanish to the Next Level!

Want to master all Spanish tenses and communicate with confidence in practical situations? This 8-week course is perfect for you! You'll learn to use all Spanish tenses in real-life contexts and improve your conversation skills.

Course Breakdown

Week 1: "¡Hola! Let's Get Started"

- Conversation practice in everyday situations (introductions, asking for directions, etc.)

- Grammar: Present tense review, adverbs of frequency (siempre, a menudo, algunas veces)

Week 2: "Perfect Tenses"

- Using the present perfect and past perfect tenses to describe actions that started in the past and continue up to the present or occurred before another action in the past

- Conversation: talking about experiences and actions that have a connection to the present or past

Week 3: "Planning Ahead"

- Using "ir a" + infinitive to express intentions and plans

- Conversation: making plans and talking about the future

Week 4: "Future Vision: Exploring the Simple Future”

- Using the future tense to describe future actions

- Conversation: making plans and talking about the future

Week 5: “Unravelling the Mystery of  SE”

- Using SE to express impersonal sentences, passive voice and reflexive actions

- Conversation: Talking about opinions, facts, news, current events, products and services and daily routines

Week 6: Mastering Connectors in Spanish: Uses of “que” and “lo que”

-Using que and lo que to link ideas and connect thoughts

-Conversation: introducing a subordinate clause.

Week 7 “What If?"

- Using "si" clauses to express conditions and hypotheses

- Conversation: talking about possibilities and conditions

Week 8: "Putting it all Together"

- Review of all tenses and grammar structures covered in the course

- Conversation: putting it all into practice in real-life scenarios

Note: Each lesson includes conversation, listening, and reading practice to help students develop their skills in a comprehensive way.

 

Course Outcomes:

By the end of this course, students will:

  • Master all Spanish tenses and use them in real-life contexts
  • Improve their conversation skills and communicate with confidence in practical situations.
