Join our NEW course: Argentinian Tango
Argentinian Tango is an improvised social dance that is popular all over the globe.
It is an elegant partner-dance for all ages accompanying traditional Argentinian Tango music. Learn fundamental steps, embrace and walking technique.
After a few lessons, you will be able to combine these steps to form an improvised dance, moving with the inflections of the music.
You can enrol with a partner or come solo - everyone is welcome!
Begin learning as a follower or a leader (or both), build your confidence, meet new people and experience the passion and elegance of Argentinian culture.

About the tutor
Pedro Alvarez
My name is Pedro Alvarez, I have been teaching Argentinian Tango since 2000 via Patio de Tango and Esquina de Tango.
I am the 2009 Australian Tango Salon Champion and have been dancing Tango all my life. I learned as a child, working in a Tango club in Buenos Aires.
I have been running regular Tango events since the early 2000s and have instructed all over Australia and New Zealand.
